Anokh took over the running of the Leeds Adult team representing the hospital in the British Transplant Games in 2015. Under his management the team had a great team spirit and his organisation led to a successful haul of medals.
Matt has joined us this year to support Anokh in the organisation and management of the team. He attended the first meeting in Leeds to introduce himself and The team are looking forward to working with him as we prepare for the games.
Gala Night At The Sage 2015
Last year saw the closing ceremony and final presentation night take place at the Sage in Newcastle. It was a fantastic night and it was worthwhile attending the ceremony. This years closing ceremony will take place in the Exhibition Center Liverpool so book early to avoid disappointment.

The opening ceremony took place at the Echo Arena, Liverpool .
The Games were launched at the Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre and the flame lit by Tracy Shaw who is waiting for a second kidney transplant. The event was attended by the Assistant Mayor of Liverpool who welcomed the Games to the city.
Transplant Sport members are encouraged to participate in activity throughout the year. The annual highlight is the British Transplant Games where participants of all ages and ability enjoy taking part in over 20 different activities. All have received the life-saving transplant or are living donors. We all celebrate the gift of life together.
